"Nice hotel in great location. We were able to walk to all of the area around fisherman’s wharf. We even had a reasonably good free breakfast. Room was very comfortable and clean."

"I liked the hotel decor, especially the lobby. There was an issue with Expedia's pre-payment rate. I was charged the full amount at the start of my stay, rather than before I arrived or at the end of my stay. The hotel staff was helpful, but the daily cleaning service didn't clean my room. Also there aren't any phones in the hotel rooms. I'd recommend for a quick trip! There are a lot of options for dinner and exploring SF nearby. I wouldn't recommend the bus stop in front of the hotel, but...

"The front desk clerk went out of his way to put us in a room as far from the cacophony of noise from the hotel strikers across the street. It was one of the smaller rooms, but very little noise could be heard. This is one of our favorite boutique hotels in San Francisco. It is located near the Powell Street station, Union Square, the Moscone Center and numerous dining options."

"Fireplaces throughout the property made it warm and inviting. Wine hour was nice with 4 wine choices, cheese and crackers. Free water and sparkling waters were included in the room fridge in generous amounts. Breakfast was simple but good for continental. Choices included fruit ( not cut but whole), 2 types of pastries, bread to make toast, a few different types of jam, several choices of dry cereal, oatmeal(the only hot choice) milk ( with options of soy, low fat etc), orange juice, coffee and...

"Not a great neighborhood but the hotel is clean, affordable, and has loads of character. Secure parking is limited but we did not have a problem. Basic continent breakfast to take back to room, and there is a 2nd floor patio with jacuzzi. "
