"Staff were amazing, very friendly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was a little dated but comfortable. Only a short 15 minute walk into town. Restaurant food was good, good variety and cooked as requested. "

"The staffs were very nice and accomodating. Breakfast was surprisingly good with many menus to choose from (buffet style). The property is outdated (the smell reminded me of my grandma's house- definitely not a bad smell, but an "old" smell) except for the ground floor which seems to have been recently renovated. Walkable distance to the city center, though some may say it's slightly far away (10 minutes). For the price I paid, it was good value. "

"10 out of 10 for the staff, who were welcoming and helpful. The location of the property is very good for exploring Rye, a short walk away. The room size was good, however the window locks are old and ineffective, and I noted a fire door propped open, giving people access from the street. Needs some money spent on it to bring up to standard, but as I said, staff were great. "
