Breakfast (three options) was served in a open air patio area. The staff put fruit out to encourage the birds to visit, providing a colorful, entertaining show. "Really enjoyed my stay. It was my first time solo traveling and I picked a spot central in the town of La Fortuna. This lodge is close to many great restaurants and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. I felt safe in knowing there was a buzzer needed to get into the building. The reception is very helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends ☺️."

"Fortuna Downtown Hotel was perfect for our family to adapt to Costa Rica on our arrival, close to so many eating and shopping options. Convenient for activity pickups, great staff at the desk and restaurant. Cleanest hotel experience I have ever had. Comfortable and convenient.
