"This property is BEAUTIFUL and incredible value for money! The view is gorgeous and the family who owns the hotel is so kind and lovely. They provide a delicious breakfast, and they even drove us to an ATM and offered to drive us into town. It’s not a far walk otherwise, just uphill on the way back. We also were walked to a nearby restaurant, Koora, which was incredible. The beds were comfy, the room is spacious, and our balcony was perfect. I would stay here again in the future. "

"Our stay at Finca Aquarius was exceptional. The property is situated in a beautiful valley that is very peaceful and quiet, yet you are 20-30 minutes away from activities in Monteverde/Santa Elena. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, spacious and have a fantastic view. Jan was an incredible host and amazing cook. We felt very fortunate to spend our last days in Costa Rica here. "Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again "

"There was no communication between staff and guest because the staff "acted" like they couldnt speak english and when i used a spanish app they acted like they had no clue until they needed my money then suddenly they understood what i said and english. Constant noise and animals. Pool sucks too. They provide a home cooked breakfast which was really good so thats why they get 1 star but nothing else."
