"The Thatcher is a beautiful property and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The main drawback for us as folks in their 70's was the lack of an elevator that necessitated a steep climb to the 3rd floor with all our luggage with no allocated staff to help (we did get help from a female staff who was courageous enough to carry a heavy suitcase up all those steps). "Property was wonderful and I would stay there again without a second thought. My one criticism is that I was unable to find our room number in any of the communications with Expedia or property management. As a result, when we arrived around 10 pm, we tried the door code in every door with a light on until we found the one that worked."
