"When we arrived to check in, there was no one at the desk. Ringing the bell did no good. After about ten minutes one of the housekeeping staff told us they were very short-handed and to come back later. We came back about two hours later and checked in along with three others who were waiting. The clerk was very efficient and pleasant, but obviously stressed by the lack of help."

"So first off I’d like to say this is my first time staying here in Maggie valley. This hotel was really nice in my opinion. I have two boys (5 and 2) and I had to bring my pack and play for my 2 year old. The room was HUGE which was great so they could have room to run around and play. The lady staff at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. (She had the braids/dreads) and breakfast was pretty decent.
