"Although a hostel, it offers single and other private rooms, which was my case. The room was big enough with a few hangers, a chest of drawers, a lamp, an armchair and washbasin. The toilets and showers are shared in sufficient numbers for both sexes. There us a huge kitchen/canteen and a common room.on the ground floor. The staff I met were all smiling and helpful. "

"Great location for exploring the area, namely Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Based very near to Wells, nice place to visit and quite a few options for dining. Host was nice and very accommodating, room was lovely and had everything you’d need. "

"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat. The boat itself was freshly made up for our group, it was toasty warm with central heating and a log burner. 2 single sofa beds in the lounge were a great solution. "It's 1:02 in the morning and still the pub is full of drunk, loud people singing at the top of their lungs. Management must be encouraging it since no one has told them to go home. When you have guest rooms, you should practice respect for your guests who are trying to sleep!! Never again will we come here. "
