"We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did...

"We stayed here over Thanksgiving break with our two college children. It was a few hours from Boston and a great location in the country overlooking a picturesque valley. The location was great for day trips exploring Vermont. The high quality furniture, rugs, and mattresses made it feel like you were visiting wealthy relatives in the country. "This was a lovely place to stay. It felt very comfortable. It was very bright and sunny. Next to train tracks, but maybe because it's up on the third floor, it did not bother us at all. The main area is much bigger than it looks in the pictures Close to everything in Waterbury, and a short drive to Stowe, Waitsfield, and other locations around the state. I hope to stay here again sometime."
