"Perfect location in the centre of town. We could walk to Eat Street and all the resturants within a few minutes. Beds were comfortable and staff very helpful. Keep in mind that there are no lifts, so if you end up on the top floors, you will be doing lots of stairs to get anywhere. "The facility had mould behind the curtains, was dated and dirty. There were toys over the driveway, empty alcohol boxes and we ended up not being able to stay because of the state of the room. We were charged over $400 for the one night and was told we have to go to Expedia to get a refund. Very disappointed! "

"Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you."

New Zealand is all about adventure — so for one of my first adrenaline-pumping activities, I did white water rafting on the world’s HIGHEST commercially rafted waterfall with Kaitiaki Adventures! I was incredibly nervous at first because the rapids were strong, but in the end it became extremely fun! We basically went through Kaituna River, over 14 rapids and 3 waterfalls which includes the 7meter Tutea Falls (thee said highest commercially rafted waterfall in the whole world!) This is definitely a MUST for you to do when in New Zealand!
