"We booked this accommodation two days prior to arrival. We were running late as we stopped at the thermal pools and John called to check up on us. The check in was efficient and our room (#3) was excellent. Although we spend on one night there, it was a very comfortable stay. The location is great and we were able to enjoy the drone show and night market. Highly recommend this place."

"As a solo traveller the area was safe and on site parking easy. Close to the town with good access to attractions by car. Good sized room, clean with facilities for hot drinks. Bathroom facilities very good. The host was very helpful and friendly. "

"The views from the common area were beautiful. However, our room was tiny, no space to move about in at all. The breakfast provided was good but the spread somewhat stingy. You had to ask for that second cup of coffee for example, and the cold cuts and cheeses platter looked meager."

"French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. You feel like you are living in your own little French chateau surrounded by stunning decor. It’s définitely a million miles away from a standard corporate hotel.
