"It is very old. Bathroom tile has been cracking and mold. I did not check when i booked a room as a smoking room so it had a very bad smell and could not sleep good because of the smell of smells. all my clothes smell like tabaco. I can not believe still people needs smoking room. No one smoke inside anymore in USA."

"Nice and big space for chilling out. Has a nice bath tub separate from bathroom. Free "medical soap" to relieve fatigue given as part of the bath tub experience. I chose the Japanese traditional room and the room is spacious. But the room got cold at night. Air con (warmer) was not strong enough. "

"The room was very well-prepared and the owner is kind and helpful, and seems like she has some interesting stories to tell. I was hoping the bar would be a gathering spot for all the guests, but I never saw it open (appears to be by reservation?) That we were encouraged to return by 9 PM was also a bit onerous (given it is 30 minutes from the city centre), but an understandable part of the guesthouse experience."

"Stayed in one of the private rooms with 3 beds (2 on the floor, and one in a loft). Just steps from Motomachi shopping street, and super close to the Minatomotomachi subway station entrance (just across the street). Room was very clean, and I had no complaints about the shared bathroom arrangement. The best part however, is that there is a fantastic laundry place (ストランドリー STLAUNDRY （大型コインランドリー) 3 minutes walk from the hostel that takes card, does a full wash/dry cycle for only 1000 yen. "The location is perfect, between kin no yu and gin no yu hot springs. There are good restaurants nearby and the hotel’s breakfast is very good. Excellent for a relaxing time."
