"A great base to visit the snow monkeys. A beautiful and traditional onsen. The breakfast and dinner was served by older ladies that did not necessarily speak English but definitely kept trying to make it an amazing experience each time. The variety of the served food was just overwhelming. So delicious and always something freshly cooked right at your table. An opportunity to stay at traditional Japanese tatami room is a memorable experience. Free pick up from the railway station. "

Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things. On the other hand, it was great to sleep on a bed that was not as hard as most Japanese mattresses. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was definitely appreciated. The location is right on the ometesando, lots of foot traffic but quiet. Futons are comfortable. We loved our stay and want to go back!"
