"Situated in a fun area just a block from the central train station. Staff was extremely pleasant; room was not fancy but clean and neat. You’re not in Florence to sit in your room, so what you save in accommodations you can spend at aperitivo! Would return in a heartbeat."

"Perfect location and great hotel I stayed for seven nights at Hotel Bodoni (Florence) in February 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The Central train station and the old town were 10-20 minutes to walk. They offer a good continental breakfast! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. "

"Decent property convenient walkable to most locations. Boise from street as well as other guests was a little more than other places that I’ve stayed previously. Pillows were less than desirable for me but that may be my own preference. "

"Hotel Alessandra is a gem in downtown Florence, just blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. It's nothing like an American chain hotel, but that's part of the charm. Lots of stairs (like everywhere in Italy) - 2 flights to the main entrance. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely and varied, rooms were large and comfortable. Great water pressure and decent sized shower. Be sure to have a drink on the terrace overlooking the river. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Florence. The hotel was close to the action, easy to find. Checkin was smooth and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The queen bed was two twins pushed together but everything was cozy and clean. "

"The hotel was chosen for its covenient location close to the tram stop and the main city area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel and room clean. Air conditioning worked well. Close to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions."

"The location was excellent you can walk to all major sites. The rooms were comfortable and staff very helpful. If you have problems climbing stairs this is not the place for you. I had no issues with the stairs but I know some people might. "

"Good Hotel, right next to the main Train Station and tram that takes you directly from the airport to the train station visa versa. Hotel was a bit hard to find from the front but on the building you will see a plaque saying hotel Brooklyn, just climb those stairs and through the double door, it will be on the 2nd floor (elevator or climbing for faster). Room was good with fridge however, the bathroom needs some renovations and plus the lo-flo toilets are no go for tourists/hotel guest. "

"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes! The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained. "This place starts on the 2nd floor although the front desk (check-in) is on the 4th floor. There is no elevator.. Breakfast is the best I had in Italy for a hotel, customer service was great. It is obvious to me that that this hotel is trying to deliver great customer service, they had a kitchen in which you could go get hot water, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.. for free 24 x 7.
