"It’s in a high-traffic area, which noise is to be expected. Of no control from the Holiday Inn Express staff, the neighboring dogs in their fenced in backyard, barked a couple hours in the late evening. Fortunately, the owners finally took them inside. Rooms are good but a little worn, and the bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a plane taking off. There is no vanity light at the bathroom mirror. Otherwise, clean & comfortable. "

The Breakfast Attendant was so personable and worked constantly keeping a well- stocked hot breakfast along with many cold options like cereal, yogurt and fruit. "I booked this hotel, drove twelve miles out of my way and when I got there I was informed they had no rooms available. This was a nightmare! It caused me to find another room at a higher price and made for a terrible night and a horrible experience. "Just a 20 minute drive on a main road to campus. Clean and set up nicely for our short stay with three adults and pup. The accommodations were just right for us and host’s attention to little touches like snacks upon arrival were a very nice surprise. Host was very attentive before and during our stay and I’d recommend you give the “Pit Stop” a look for your visit to the Blacksburg area."

"Hinton is a beautiful town that is close to several natural outdoor activities. It also has antique stores and amazing food. The owner of Three Rivers was so nice.
