We were totally impressed with the Turnpike Motel! It is an old school motel like from my childhood that has been completely refurbished to a high standard. Our room was clean and spacious and modern with new flooring and bathroom. There are countless dining options nearby. For a one night stopover, it was just what we needed. We are fans of the old motels and have never seen one renovated like this. Highly recommend!

There is nothing I don’t like about turnpike motel. It is clean, comfortable, safe and inexpensive. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always been a pleasure to stay. For me, when I travel this way, the turnpike motel is a staple.

The only problem I had with this room is that there was a constant beeping. I couldn’t sleep and found it was an extension cord that had four items connected. I unplugged it - luckily I was done with the tv, the fridge and two other things!!

This is a small "mom & pop" property. It was a breath of fresh air after staying in several chain hotels for several nights while on a two week road trip. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I was surprised how quiet the room was considering it was close to the road. Parking was a little tight because of some larger vehicles in the parking lot. I liked the large mini fridge with freezer section. Very nice for the price for one night.

If you are looking for a place to spend the night while passing through, this is a great choice. It is on one of the busier streets in town, so about 6 AM trucks started driving by, but otherwise it was fairly quiet. The only other issue is that outlets for charging your electronics are scarce.

Family owned and in the process of renovating the rooms. We stayed in a renovated room traveling south and in an old room traveling north. The renovated rooms are really nice and very clean. (No carpet)
