There is not much to do in nearby areas but my goal was to stay near new river gorge park not to be in a place with lots to do, so this was perfect! Only downside is proximity to the train tracks. "Well my daughter and I went on a little West Virginia mountain adventure to do some mountain photography and enjoy the color change and boy did we have an excellent stay!!! The property was just perfect for us, the color changes on the leaves were gorgeous the fire pit was great we did lots of cooking in the very well appointed kitchen and enjoyed being away from it all!
