"The young manager that night was responsible for everything that night for a whole hotel full of people with only one elevator operating. I nominate him for best manager of the summer for covering the front desk and the entire property to keep everyone happy!!! And he was very nice in spite of a very stressful night and a bad storm."

"Outside of hotel is a little run down so was worried when I first arrived. However the inside of rooms have been recently updated and were very nice. New vinyl flooring and room was very clean. Great water pressure in shower/tub combo and mattress was firm. Great location next to shopping and nice restaurants. "

"We are frequent visitors of Marriott hotels. Our room in this Fairfield Inn was comfortable overall, with the exception of the pull-out sofa bed. The mattress was in horrible condition. One of my daughters slept on it...a bed of springs. It truly was terrible. And the room smelled musty and humid. Regardless, the room served our overnight purpose. But, if a guest is going to pay almost $200 for an overnight stay, the room should be comfortable for all, and without horrible smell."
