"The place is great and well maintained. The room I had was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Being located in a national forest contributes to it being very peaceful and quiet. I was also there at the perfect time for the colorful leaf change. The beauty of the area is fantastic. The only downside was the walls are very thin. You can plainly hear the conversations and television of other guests. Other than that, its a great place for a quiet getaway."

"Beds were amazingly comfortable!!!We slept so good!!!Everything appeared clean until after showering ,I walked around barefoot while packing up.When I went to put on socks,I saw that my feet were black!!!!I rescrubbed and put socks and shoes on before walking any more.The floors are vinyl and I’m guessing swept but not mopped."

"We had a wonderful experience at this charming, well-maintained Sears and Roebuck home. The house is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special, even baking brownies to celebrate my wife's birthday! "We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. "

"The place needs to be updated. Great location if you will be hiking in the nearby mountains. Looks like an old resort that sold land to a developer that built really nice houses, but did not update their hotel to match the neighborhood. The TV is at least 30 years old. Service and staff was great."
