Absolutely Perfect
This spot was absolutely perfect for a guys weekend away from the chaos of reality. Chilling, grilling, using the fire pit and playing games in a place far enough away to not hear a single other soul was the goal and this property set new expectations for what a mountain getaway should be. The house was super clean and ready to go when we arrived. The only downside was the long drive in on the gravel road (this would be a major issue in the winter season for anyone without 4 wheel drive). For us it was a non issue even for a friend driving a Honda Civic since we visited in late June. We also wished we could have opened the garage doors as we got some really nice cool nights but the garage/game room stayed at about 75-80° even though it was mid to low 60s outside. I will forever hold this place in my memory as a possible place to visit again.

5 stars all the way around!
The location is incredible - views of the mountains and valley are just amazing. The house was very clean and well stocked, with plenty of room. The hosts are awesome - they left us homemade pumpkin roll (delicious!) and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. If you're looking for a relaxing stay in WV, this is the place!

Loved the house!! The view was breath taking! Had a great time visiting it was so peaceful! The deer was a bonus! We fed them apples. The only thing we wish we knew a head of time is there is no grocery store close. Its about 35mins away. But we made one trip to Davis for grocery and dinner. It work out good.

Almost Heaven
This place is amazing! Such care is put into their guests stay. The house is beautiful, very clean and very well stocked. A loaf of banana bread welcomed us & a basket of fresh veggies were brought another day. Our stay was so nice.....very relaxing. The neighbors are super nice too! God willing, we will be able to return someday. Absolutely recommend this home!

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful scenery! Deer everyday in the yard, front and back. Almost the top of the mountain. Only issue we had was no internet service. There is wifi and hotspot, but will not connect to internet service. My daughter had to work, from her computer, and she could not stay! So my whole family was not there because of that. Decks need a little TLC. House is very nice and well equipped! If you need to disconnect from the internet, this is a wonderful place.

We just loved this house and the stellar view. House was compact and well-designed, super clean, and well maintained and stocked. Owners are very friendly and thoughtful. There are lots of activities and games, so just hanging around the house kept the whole family happy and engaged. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet mountain retreat, this is perfect. Agree that you would definitely need 4x4 in winter, but in summer our minivan was just fine.

Amazing!
Absolutely amazing views and incredibly quiet! This was the perfect place for my family and my friends. Great for children and for the adults. The house was perfect - incredibly clean, organized, and a great setup for the number of people advertised. The pictures do not do this house and property justice! The owners were great with communication, directions were clear and helpful, and the place was well stocked with visitors in mind. They clearly care and it shows. We are all VERY happy! This was my first vrbo experience and it sets a high bar.

The Location, Location and Location
Positive: The location is the heaven. Cleanliness was at its best. Beds were comfy. The quietness is spiritual and the best for meditation. Felt like heaven there. Caution: The address is not on GPS. Please make sure you’ve an iPhone with the app Waze. That only helps you. Last 3 miles of drive needs some driving skills. Negative: Please check expiry date of the items kept in the refrigerator.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
Me and my friends of 50 years met to celebrate the last one's retirement. The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with those basic items you sometimes forget to bring on such a trip. The views are incredible and so relaxing. The house although up on the side of mountain is not totally isolated which for us was comforting. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

It was a beautiful home, on the top of a mountain! So relaxing, and a perfect stay for our family. House is as advertised, and well stocked. I might recommend booking during the “on season” if you want to partake in what the smaller towns have to offer, as sone places were closed (but that is no reflection on the property itself).

Amazing property in the mountains
We loved our stay at the property and used it as base camp for hiking at Seneca Rocks. The mountaintop views never got old and we enjoyed watching basketball on tv while playing in the game room. Highly recommend.

I’d give 10 stars if possible
Place was amazing. Wildlife in front yard was awesome. Only down side is floors was noisy so down stairs didn’t sleep when up stairs was awake but other than that it was perfect.

Beautiful, serene and peaceful. Enjoyed wathcing the deer from the house. The house was clean, well stocked and lovely. Plenty of room , and the hot tub was a plus. The host found out my son was proposing during the stay and they made a Celebration basket for them. Wonderful communication with the host - we will be back!

Birthday weekend
We stayed here for my younger son's 12th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. We were greeted with a delicious chocolate cake provided by the owners to honor his special day. The scenery and the house are beautiful. We had just the right amount of snow to sled on the hill out front. We enjoyed the rest of the amenities and would definitely stay here again!!

This property was everything my family needed for a long weekend! Some of us went skiing, while my elderly dad, special needs son and myself (recovering from a major surgery to fight cancer) stayed back and enjoyed the home and views. Mountainous Winter Wonderland
Our stay at this home was by far one of the best vacation experiences we’ve had to date. My family and I spent two amazing weeks in this high-altitude, snow-draped property surrounded by hallmark-worthy mountain views and friendly wildlife. Upon arrival, our hosts had holiday decorations waiting for us plus and also left us ornaments to personalize which we had a great time personalizing. They were also quick to provide us with a Keurig coffee maker so we could use the coffee pods we had brought with us! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of or need, which made cooking every night a breeze. Actually the entire home was very well equipped and it made our Christmas and New Year’s celebrations memorable. A fireplace with a fully stocked log wood holder, game room, sleds, jacuzzi, and deer all around! The mornings, my daughter enjoyed sledding down the snow-covered front yard and feeding the countless deer on the front and back porch. My husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee while sitting on the porch swing taking in the beautiful view. A truly peaceful and quiet destination where anyone can unwind and escape the noise and fast pace of city life. It exceeded our expectations, we truly could not ask for a more memorable holiday. Can't wait to come back!!
