"A fantastic stay. Even better and bigger than the pictures. Great value for money. Perfect location near the train station and all the shops. Communication with the host was also perfect—we had a couple of requests during our stay and he took care of everything very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!"

"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...

"The woman managing the place was very kind and helpful. She gave us tips for walking around the area and finding restaurants. "We stayed in the grade 2 listed farmhouse in the blue room which was very large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable bathroom & shower were squeaky clean the outside temperature had changed that day due to rain so it was a tad chilly but I’m a northerner so no problem for me. The breakfast selection was amazing including a cooked breakfast The host was very chatty and informative so 5 out of 5 for our stay"
