"We stayed 2 nights over the New Year. It is very near my family so very convenient. We had our dog with us and were given an amazing room on the ground floor with a door to the garden. Very convenient. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I won't stay anywhere else now when I visit the family. Food is very good, we have eaten here with family before, and we were able to take dog into breakfast so no worries about leaving him in the room. We thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you Potters Heron for a lovely stay. The dog loved it too!"

"What a lovely place. Old building but beautifully kept, clean rooms stocked generously and every facility you’ll need. Not ruthlessly efficient but a real nice homely feel. The classy Xmas decs were an example of how they do tjings properly. When the only complaint is that they had run out of Horlicks it has to be good. "
