"We LOVED staying at this hotel. It's so charming and filled with character - surprises like old typewriters and telephones and a generally interesting and lovely vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. A few minor drawbacks to be aware of - steps to our bathroom in our room were tough to navigate at night a musty smell (but much compensated for by the beautifully decorated space). Only wish they would have prepped us better for the nightmare of driving there - no one should do...

"If you are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay this will do. It kind of reminds me of staying at my grandma’s place. It’s not decorated elaborately, almost like you went back to the 80s but it’s comforting. The staff are amazing & make up for any lack of amenities. They have a nice patio and a reasonable breakfast."

"Nice and clean hotel. Our room had a balcony with a pretty view. Staff speaks some English and Spanish, they are all very polite and helpful. Location is okay and safe but you will need to take a taxi to train terminal or downtown to the touristic attractions ($15-20 euros) Good breakfast too. Overall recommend. "

"This hotel was a great hotel to stay in. Big room like it is in the states and breakfast was included. The only downside to this hotel is it is further than we realized to the attractions and minor noises from the water pipes. Overall we would stay here again without any hesitation. It was a wonderful stay!!!! The reception and employees were great and welcoming! "

"I might agree with others that this property is probably more hostel than hotel. BUT!! That being said, we had our own bathroom, the room was clean and our group each had their own bed, the showers were hot, they had a good breakfast and they will do your laundry for a fee. And sometimes travel is just what you make it, had we not stayed here we would have missed some good shopping streets walking into the city. Beautiful walks. "
