"The lady on the front desk when we arrived and when we checked-out was extremely friendly and helpful. It really made our stay even better. The rooms are very comfortable and modern, yet the building is very charming and has a typically Italian old-world feel. Highly recommend this place and I hope to return when I visit Florence again :)"

"We had a great stay at the Essence Hotel. It is in a quieter part of town but still close to everything. The room we stayed in was clean and modern. Most major attractions in Florence were within easy walking distance. We'd be happy to stay here again next time when we come back to visit Tuscany."

"We stayed in the Double Zebra Room and it was honestly one of the most beautifully designed rooms. Super clean, spacious, and full of personality. Breakfast in bed was a lovely touch - arrived right on time and really good. I also loved that they use Officina Profumo toiletries, such a nice detail. Overall, a really special stay in Florence."

"Stayed at this hotel for a bike race in Siena. It was perfect for our needs as the rooms were large with space for three adult men and their bikes. It is near to the city if you have a bike but walking to the center could be a bit much for some people especially returning up the hill to the hotel. The gym and spa were great. Everything you could need. They have a pool but we were there in March so we didn't use it. The place feels like as if it was meant for another purpose like apartments...

"Because of the different levels our room was like a suite. With only 9 rooms in the palazzo it feels very exclusive. On any subsequent trips to Florence I would make it my first choice. "

"Was a great location, about a 20 minute walk from the train station or a bus stop right in front. Its a huge spiral staircase to get to your floor, which wasn't an issue for us. Didn't hear a thing from inside or outside except for on the last night whoever was above us had their alarm going for an hour straight, but we were getting up shortly anyways. "I especially liked that the front office staff spoke English. They were very helpful in providing info on bus transportation. Michael was kind to supply an ice pack, due to an accident. The breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our time at Vittoria Design Hotel. Paula was a wonderfully accommodating host. Her son was wonderful as well. They Always met our needs and helped us with anything we needed. "The rooms are large and very clean. The staff is exceptionally courtious. This hotel is very generous with room supplies (eg. free items in the fridge, plenty of toiletries. And if you need anything you just call the front desk. The breakfast is exceptionally delicious and has a large variety."

"We chose Hotel Paris for the location based on proximity to the main attractions in Florence and we were not disappointed as we could walk to all the main sites in minutes. The hotel has a lot of charm and the staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend. Good breakfast selection as well. "

"We were very happy to check in early (noon) and to be upgraded to a larger room. We were only there for the 'night' because we had an early flight out of Florence. It was everything we needed for an overnight. Views? not from our room but we weren't there for that. Just a place to sleep. "
