"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"

"I loved my stay at Hakone Airu. It was peaceful, quiet and the staff were able to speak English. The facility was very tourist friendly. I absolutely loved the private onsen and being able to dip in and out whenever we liked. The lounge space next to the private onsen is such a bonus. The bathroom and shower were very clean as well. The only slight discomfort was the fact the shower is exposed to the outside so can be very cold when you initially step in the shower during winter time. "

"I really enjoyed the rooms at the property. The Ryokan style rooms with paper screen sliding doors and tatami mats made the room feel comfortable as well as the western style beds. "Our stay was great, it was a beautiful and quiet place. The Onsen itself was perfect. I think the only downside was the food was just ok. We were expecting more food options in the area, but when we realized there wasn’t anything close by, we ate at the hotel, and the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.
