"Stayed here while skiing at Wintergreen, an easy 30 minutes away. The rooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed having an outdoor fire and smores in a lovely wooded ambiance after our ski days. I can imagine this would be a perfect place in summer/fall too if you’re traveling to the mountains. Will absolutely stay again. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house! We loved the family room and fireplace. The kitchen was also very well stocked. We appreciated so much all the extra amenities of soap, shampoo and body wash. As well as firewood for the fireplace. The hot tub was broken… but the property manager was exceptional! He tried his best to get it up and running but was unsuccessful. He was very responsive and kind. "

"Close to Wintergreen ski resort in quiet spot out of chaos.Simplistic & cozy cabin. Sleeps 4 adults but lots of space for blow ups & have 3 more guests. Bring extra blankets if you sleep with more than one. Clean. No issues. Nice getaway to hike, read, paint, bird, ski or just reset. Loved it! "

"Recently refurbished--just lovely and every detail so thoughtful from toiletries to snacks and books in the room. Comfy bedding and towels too! Perfect little spot for visiting to town or college and the owner and his family are gracious hosts."

"This was a great home for our family to spend Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for everyone and we loved the open floor plan of the main level. Home was decorated nicely and had everything we needed, plus many special touches. Wish we could have enjoyed the deck but we were limited on time and weather. The trail to the waterfall is a must do... a nice quick little hike. If you're leary on renting as a "new" listing on VRBO, I realized this home has been rented out for years and the guest book...

"Great location, comfy beds, large living space, updated furniture and bathroom. Very pleased. One small con - the music from the lobby area will play through the floors and can be heard throughout the day and most of night. The front office will turn it down - if they forget. "
