"My family needed a place to stay at Wintergreen due to their being a very large group of us. We have a condo on the mountain, so are very use to all the ins/outs of the resort. Not only is the condo one of the best equipped I have seen on the mountain, it is for sure the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Communication with the host was excellent and accommodating. This is an excellent choice for just an overnight stay or week! When we are in need of a unit at Wintergreen, we will be going back for sure!"

"Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. Most places just leave it up to you to make it up to the property, but the drive way was cleared before our arrival. Most places either require you to bring your own wood, or purchase wood from them, the cabin already had bundles next to the stoves and instructions on where to find more. My wife and I were able to enjoy the entire day of frozen rain and sleet indoors where we just sat around the stove and kept warm. Of course the pantry was fully stocked of coffee to enjoy next to that lite stove. Of course after the warmth and ambiance of the stove, you'll get plenty of rest in the comfortable beds. There is a TV with connections and apps for all your keeping contact with the outside world, so I stayed away from that room. I was there to not hear about what was going on, and that was what I meant to do. I absolutely plan to come back to this cabin, and I'm hoping to bring friends along with me during one or more of those trips.Kalvin"

"Fantastic views of the resort and the Blue Ridge mts. Easy to get in out of the condo with gear and only a 10 min walk or 2 min drive to Mountain Inn. I would recommend this property for any season you are planning a visit to Wintergreen. "

"Wonderful stay"

"This was an amaizng VRBO. Heather was very responsive and accommodating. The codo itself is perfect for a family, or if you are a couple. As a family my kids, 8, 4 and 2 e joted the playroom nook with the Wii and the queen and twin beds. The views were spectacular. We arrived im the middle of Winter Storm Blair and got about a foot of snow dumped on us so the wood burning fireplace and board games were a hit as night creeped in. We are very thankful for heather and her VRBO and highly recommend. "

"This is a very unique property definitely worth staying in to get away from the city, or in particular, to experience living in a farm house from 200 years ago, albeit one that has all the modern conveniences everyone takes for granted. All of us (4 adults) found the home extremely interesting. Just finding houses built from 10-inch square hand-cut and hewed wood beams to visit is not that easy - finding one to stay in is a real treat. We selected this property due to its location close to relatives we were visiting, not because it was an old farm house, so the home's age aspect of the stay was a bonus. All of the members of all party commented that they felt like they were staying in a museum.The house was very clean and in excellent repair (so, no worries about staying in an "old house") and the hosts were most informative, friendly and quickly answered all our questions."
