"We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location."

"The hosts are amazing. We had a family emergency happen just prior to the original date we had booked. They were so accommodating with us and allowed us to reschedule. The weather was cold and a little rainy but the house was great and the views were breathtaking. We will definitely visit again when it is warmer to see the apple orchards and enjoy the views again. "

"I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was! The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. The house was on a stunning secluded piece of land outside Charlottesville and offered incredible views. The house was very well appointed and they certainly thought of everything. "We rented the home for its proximity to Wintergreen for a quick skiing trip,and it was perfect. A cozy older home with a cabin like feel. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners were great, get back to you quickly if you have questions. Definitely rent again if we come back to the area."

Be prepared to bring your own dishwashing liquid, laundry soap (washer not used), and preferred spices. We made dinner a couple of nights and it was well equipped.
