"Our room was beautiful 5* Luxury. We encountered an issue the first night, not the fault of the hotel, however when notified they went out of their way to investigate and resolve the issue. In the interim, they offered us another room and partial refund if we wanted it. Whilst in discussion re: the issue we mentioned we were there for our anniversary and wanted to remain in the executive suite, so when we returned to the room we found a card and chocolates from the hotel staff. 5* service and...

"Although this hotel has limited parking it is a great hotel for a short break. Bar staff and area perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and stocked with tea coffee etc and towels. A little dated but good value for money I'd definitely recommend "

"Hossam was a very friendly and patient host. The property is well situated in terms of public transport links and good access to all amenities. The wifi is good as is having a communal fridge. "

"Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...

"Comfortable house stay, we used as a 1 night stopover on way to Cornwall. It's not particularly scenic, being at the end of an unloved housing estate. The property is clean and practical, but could do with a few tidying up jobs doing. I haven't had to pay a deposit on any other holiday accommodation we have stayed in, it was refunded to us. "
