"Its my second stay here. It is very good , but better the first time , the private room was surprisingly much noiser than the share room i had last time . Noise through the walls , could easily here people talking loud and snoring, noise at 3am 4am 5am from floor above . Still , probably id come back , but only ina shared room which strangely was quieter. "

"The property is a bit dated but well maintained, kept clean and in order. It worked out for our family looking for a relaxed and easygoing stay. When we walked for a morning stroll, we caught a beautiful and clear view of Mt Fuji. With rental car, we had access to a selection of restaurants, shops, and activities within the Lake Yamanakako area. But 7/11 is also just a few minute walk and the hotel offers breakfast and dinner for an affordable price. We would stay here again!"

"Nice relaxing stay. A little bit hard to get to, especially with luggage as the bus gets very crowded. No food options nearby (need to take the bus or a 20min walk along a narrow mountain road to nearest store) so make sure to bring some food if you plan to eat onsite."

"There's no private bathroom in the room. Most Japanese accommodations provide a yukata robe, especially for when accessing common bathroom facilities. This property had none to offer. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who has physical limitations, such as difficulty walking as there is a very steep switchback to access this property. Also there was no signage so I easily got lost. The facility itself is quiet, but the announcements from the train station carries all the way to...

"This was a great stay for us. The onsen was nice, the food was good, the service was great. If you come into the Odawara Station, there is a bus that drops you off about a 8 minute walk from the property. The experience felt authentic and traditional. There are 2 identical private onsens (with indoor and outdoor options), so although you can only book once per day, we didn’t have any issue getting a slot. The only complaints we had were that the front window had a light shining in the whole...

"The place was beautiful. The owners were also extremely friendly, they offered to drive us to any restaurant in the area if we didn’t want to eat at a place within walking distance. Breakfast was also delicious and traditional. They also helped us get a bus reservation to our next destination and drove us to the bus stop. Highly recommend!"
