"I've never cried when I left a hotel because the stay was so wonderful. Why do people love Japan, specifically Hokkaido, and Moiwa most of all? Because of the people. The kindness and love of Manager Shiina, the amazing and fantastic Chef Ishii, Chef & resident Francophile Mrs. Keiko, Nagajima, and Thai speaker Saiparn are what guests remember. When I was young, I worked at a family hotel in Aspen (Snowmass) and the guests that returned so wanted to see a friendly face from years prior. ...

"Hotel.com staff were useless and unhelpful! The hotel is expensive ; losy room; share bath room; not lift ( not user and invalid guest friendly) poor breakfast."

"A clean property with bunk bed rooms. Each bed has curtains for privacy and a lamp and electric outlet. The property is two floors. The bathrooms, showers, and some hot water heaters for tea, etc, are on the first floor. The guests were mostly under 30 from their looks. And there is a restaurant in the lodge where the included breakfast is served and dinner can be purchased. All the staff, except in the restaurant were native english speaking."
