"We loved the location of this property for its easy access to the beach and walkable West End. Just ask one of the staff for lounge chairs, towels and an umbrella and they will set you up across the street on the beach. The shared area on the upper floor was a great place to relax under the canopy on those rainy days. It can be a lively place to socialize with other guests. The attached gift shop has good quality clothing and souvenirs that are well priced. The staff was friendly and helpful....

"Spaious room with excellent internet and decent TV service Great towels and good linen. Hot water was slow but plentiful. Fridge in room and microwave available in office. Close to gas staion which has a number of excellent eating choices. Chinese restauarant on ground floor. Seating area on the outside hallway was very pleasant. Only negative was the poor lighting of the hotel, both in hallway and in the room"

We weren’t sure if it was a less safe area than the typical tourist go to (west end) or if we were just over thinking it and too used to be our picket fence life back home ! "This is a great house. Kitchen has the basics to cook a meal (we cooked 5 nights there). The beds are comfortable. The screened in porch is great to use in the morning (hotter in the afternoon). It has a tv that has netflix etc on it. Or you can bring a firestick with express vpn on it (so it looks like you are in the US) and watch your own streaming services.
