"We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. We loved the pool, kayaks and sunsets on the beach! We drank coffee on the porch every morning and absolutely loved the greenery and privacy. "We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. "This was our second visit to Phoenix House. The primary reason we like this location (Sundancer) is the access to the reef. There are very few places in the tropical snorkeling business in the world where you can access a coral reef with a 10 minute swim. No boat rental necessary. Yes, you cross a boat channel, so heads up. My idea of heaven."

"This was such a beautiful spot to relax. Views in every direction.... The house was perfect: lots of room, well-equipped kitchen, and the fans were all we needed to keep comfortable. Most of the time there was a lovely breeze. The pool area was perfect at all times of the day. Nancy and Phil could not have been more helpful.... Kayaaks were such a plus for exploring the mangrove tunnels , restaurants (Tricos was by far our favourite local spot)...and snorkelling spots nearby. A lovely relaxing...

"It was a unique small resort that was beautifully landscaped, felt a little like you were in the jungle. It was quiet off the beaten path. We felt very safe. Everyone was so friendly and you got to know everyone. Food at the Beach Grill was great. There are a couple more restaurants in walking distance that are also good.
