"We really enjoyed staying here. After booking primarily at traditional hotels through Costa Rica during our vacation, we thought it would be cool to try something different. Estrellas is more of a small boutique BnB with amazing views, deep in the Samara hills. Be prepared, I highly advise having a 4x4, we made the mistake of booking a sedan on our trip and deeply regretted it. Driving up to this lodge is a tad tricky, but would have been so much easier with a better vehicle. Nathan was great...

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"This was one of our favourite places in all of Costa Rica to stay and I can't recommend it enough. Coltin is a fabulous host who is very responsive and knowledgeable about the local area but also keeps your privacy. The house is stunning and has the best views for sunset and relaxing and it's super convenient for going anywhere in town when you actually can leave the property though it's hard to do! I can't say enough about this place and don't have anything negative to say, which is rare for me...

"In Nosara for a wedding and stayed the week at Casa Cielo ( Seaesta ) thru Surfing Nosara. Must say everything was perfect from the day we booked it thru to the day we left .Karine Bohit the contact for the Casa was amazing and answered all questions within minutes of asking. The rental itself was almost brand new so the pictures are very reflective of the property. Thanks again Surfing Nosara and we will definitely be back !!!"

"Helt ok. Fint design, men ikke særlig praktisk. Utrolig lytt på alle rom. Det er en stor åpning inn til badet på privatrom, som gjør at mange insekter og dyr kommer inn på rommet. Dorm har ikke aircondition, kun vifte. Frokost er helt ok, lite utvalg. Fin beliggenhet til playa hermosa, men veldig langt unna alt annet. Avhengig av taxi eller atv/bil for å kunne gjøre noe annet enn å være på Dreamsea / stranden. Veldig god soda rett i nærheten og en liten dagligvare - dog er denne dyrere enn...
