"This place has the million dollar view! It's very clean and well kept. You don't need a 4x4 to get up there. You can get up to the property in a regular SUV that has decent clearance because the road is bumpy, steep and narrow. It's close to everything you'll need during your stay. "

"The folks at Green Sanctuary are lovely and efficient. The young woman who greeted us at 6pm was helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing!!! I had the Tico Special and it was huge and delicious. "Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. Kenneth and Allen were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with a smile. And breakfast every morning...

"I loved the room with the glass wall to a private view of the back yard/hillside. There was a kitchen and a private patio area. Staff was so helpful to navigate our way and to secure a ferry reservation after we left there. Loved the area. Just wasn’t aware how mountainous it is in Costa Rica. Takes getting used to drive up the crazy hills. Great location and food/restaurants was amazing!!! So fresh and good. "
