"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Stayed in the balcony room, was absolutely fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, had a mini kitchen with microwave and all equipment you could need for a short stay. Excellent location to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking available outside, approx £4 for 2 hours, but from 6pm - 8am it is free, we got up at 8am to put a ticket on just in time before the Traffic Warden arrived so be aware of this. Only issue we had was that you are unable to control the heating in any way. Room was cold...

"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...

"Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! Thanks Andy for such an enjoyable stay!"
