"Location was great, bed comfy clean towels. Needs few touches plugs in better location needs bathroom shelf, side table etc. Sadly lift not working throughout stay BIG impact on our stay as we were on top floor 8 levels from ground very steep stairs. It deterred us from shopping as unable to carry things upstairs. Our knees badly swollen now!!! Staff were lovely. Needs blackout blinds slightly noisy rooms doors banging"

Breakfast was continental with option for sausage/bacon sandwich which was enough for us. "As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. Luckily, their shower is not bad. I put a bit lower rate on eco-friendly because the shower cannot completely...
