Would have preferred a bath instead of the shower but this in no way reflects badly on our stay with you. We travel a lot nowadays following my retirement but this was our first visit to Holiday Inn. "I was upgraded to the Holiday Inn next door as the International Hotel was closed for the Christmas period. Lovely hotel. Staff excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Overall, very pleasant stay. Only issue was the heating but this was dealt with immediately on request. I would definitely book this hotel again."

"We arrived to be told the authorities decided to close certain roads in the town on a Saturday and Sunday after COVID until 4pm .The car park was a 3 minute walk away but getting to it by car proved difficult as the SAT nav wanted to take us along the closed roads .After much frustration we got there in the end .It's sign posted for use of guests of the lion hotel but you can parkin it if you are staying at the Prince Rupert. Having got that advice out of the way on to the Prince Rupert...
