"Loved the hotel itself. There was construction occuring on the roof top during my stay. When that area is complete it will be awesome. The only thing i missed was a private beach area for guests, but it wasnt a huge deal breaker, because the hotel itself is super nice."

"We only stayed one night at Ambergris Sunset Hotel but were pleased by the size of the room and spaces to hang clothes and store personal items, plus a mini fridge! Very clean room, comfortable bed, and quiet, walkable location. "

"What a pleasant stay in the heart of the caye! Chefy, the owner, was extremely hospitable and accommodating, both prior to arrival, from sharing the most convenient water taxi to catch to his property to allowing us to check in a bit early and also upon check out from carrying our luggage downstairs to storing our luggage for a couple of hours. His hotel is in the midst of the hustle and bustle and is in walking distance to many of the caye's local cafes, restaurants, and bakeries!"

"It was reasonable and not really loud. Clean. There is a place to sit and watch the water. There is a hotel on the other side that sometimes has a bar open and a fire on the beach. Great little pier to get in the water and watch the sunrise. A nice hotel for a quiet time. It is not a far walk to the main street of town. "
