"Very straightforward stay in a convenient location in London. Venue feels very secure. Nice breakfast included. Everything clean and tidy. Shared kitchen available. Shared showers/toilets fine. Room basic, but nice. Only real complaint was that the bed mattress gave way a bit too easily, felt really quite well used. LSE should invest in new ones."

"It was my first time at a hostal being a lone female traveller l was a bit apprehensive but I had a really great time at Generator. Staff happy and helpful all the time. Met people l wouldn't usually meet and l had one awesome evening with a few. It's all there for you, you don't even have to go outside. "I liked how there was someone there 24/7, i love how every day there was cleaners that gave a quick wipe down in the bathroom and sweep of floor. The beds where spacious and comfortable especially as a bigger size female and alot of space in the room to store suitcases and bags under bed with small table and mirror in the room. "Overall, it’s a great hostel. Quite modern and the best thing is the location because it’s very easy to get public transportation from nearby and is just a few mins walk to Tower Bridge. Earlier, I was a bit worried how will I sleep without AC but the fans helped and it was much better than my expectations. Overall, I wish I was able to connect with a lot of travellers, maybe group walking tours or something like that could’ve helped. "
