"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Luna del Arenal and would definitely stay there again! It was very inviting the moment we got there: beautiful casita and patio with a jacuzzi tub, lots of hummingbirds in the bushes, and an amazing view of the volcano! The interior was very clean and also inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed and our host provided many extras including Christmas decorations! "i hope people use this hotel as it appears to be a mum and her daughter making a go of it - and though quirky it is an ok experience. What is a problem is - its in the middle of nowhere and expedia sent me the wrong name. You told me it was called (unusually )HOTEL IN FRONT OF LAKE ARENAL. And it was 15 miles from LA FORTUNA. After driving 45 minutes a kindly restaurant owner called the lady and gave me directions. I would still be looking now - its called LAKE 2 and even that is poorly signed....

"Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake.
