"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "The property itself was well kept, clean, and had good utilities. Parking was not at all clear, since it seemed to be in a permit-only area so I parked about 10 minutes away on foot. Strange area to stay in, but again, the place itself was nice and well kept."

"An old farm house, located directly on a crossroads, with views over the countryside. The room was clean, pleasant, and comfortable. It was more a guest house than a B&B, with the main rooms, including the kitchen, available to everyone. Guests avail themselves of supplies and facilities to make their own breakfast.
