"The main building opens to a beautiful pool. The terrace was the perfect place to view the scenery, including birds, wildlife, and the ocean. All of the buildings were clean and comfortable, and the mattresses and bedding were comfortable. A few things needed some upkeep (such as a loose kitchen faucet), but the beauty of the home and the outstanding service and responsiveness made up for that. Lizbeth (the manager) was amazing. She prepared a delicious and beautiful meal for the six of us. A few "sodas" were nearby, but the hours were not always convenient for us. However, there is a hotel nearby with a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There were 2 beaches nearby, and another one 30 minutes away. I do recommend a vehicle with 4 wheel-drive. I would definitely recommend Villa Jalapa to friends and would love to stay there again."

Specifically Coyol Restaurant and Huacas Restaurant provided amazing world class food AND beautiful vistas of both sunsets and the Costa Rican Mountains. A great, relaxing stay "
