"We had a really lovely stay here. It was so quiet on the night and the people who own it are lovely. We felt very welcomed. The location is great too, only a short drive to Bowness-on-Windermere. Overall a lovely place to stay, will definitely be recommending to family and friends. "

"Had the actual pub been open and operational, the stay might have been better. It is running on a shoestring and with only 3 rooms available the breakfast selection was very limited. Continental breakfast only but very little choice. The accommodation is in a hamlet with no facilities, so we had to make sure that we had a meal before we returned for the night."

"Such a lovely loft area with lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Really nice locally produced bathroom products, I especially liked the Sweet Basil and Orange Hand & Body Lotion. Wish we had booked a longer stay here. Would definitely go back."
