"Great property & location. Kate & Jon made us feel really welcome & were a great sourcs of information on places to visit. We will definitely come back as a week wasn't long enough to visit all the ppints of interest. My only moan, is that in the vrbo listing, there was no mention of bedding & towels being provided by the proprietor. This was resolved with a quick message to Kate before we travelled up."

"Lovely lodge in an excellent location for exploring the Lake District. The site the lodge itself is located on was lovely, peaceful, well kept and litter free. The lodge was well equipped with towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets to name a few. The parking at the lodge I found fine and we drive a Ford focus. We parked through the gate outside of the lodge and just kept the car in first gear for safety just incase (more for our reassurance) the...

"House needed a good deep clean for spider webs and dust. But general level of cleanliness re kitchen bedding etc was OK. Great location. Fantastic garden but remember to note it is a shared garden. We kept our dog on long lead. Neighbours 2 dogs and 2 children were not !!!! Their dog poo left on our areas. Fence needed please as this really impcted on our stay"

"We had a very enjoyable stay in Tethera which had all we needed for a comfortable time. The property has a secure garden which our dog loved - the only slight niggle is that there’s no direct access from the property to the garden. This wasn’t mentioned in the description and we may not have chosen to stay there if we’d been aware. Otherwise everything else was fine. "

"Excellent facilities with everything you need, it's like home from home. 2 bathrooms, hot tub & the comfiest of beds :-) Only draw back is the main road but you will soon adapt to the noise with those comfy beds."
