"Lovely room in a nice spot close to town. Geraldine the owner was so welcoming we felt really at home! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. Somerset House is near enough to walk to seaside and promenade and close to station for days out. Would recommend for a pleasant short break :-)"

"Lovely hotel with an amazing range of Whisky. Breakfast was really good and decent portions. If you can, book dinner while staying here, as it's delicious and nicely leads into some whisky tasting. Emiko was a fantastic host. Very attentative and provided some great guidance on local walks and restaurants."

Room 2 Coniston, Truly amazing

"What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. "

"Absoloutely lovely central location. The staff on the bar were fab blokes (a young lad who’s name I didn’t catch and a chap I believe was called Richard). We had the chicken parmo share board and I could eat it again and again. Room was budget and basic but comfortable for a one night stay. Only issue was a leaky shower but again for one night not a problem and I have emailed the hotel directly so they can get it fixed. Beware of the one way system driving through the town square as it can make finding the car park difficult and it’s rather tight to get into! Overall a lovely stay and we’d stay again next time we’re up that way. Thanks Sun Inn 😊"
