"The staff told us it's fully book when we arrived the hostel in the middle of the night. We tried to call to make sure there's bed but nobody answered the phone and email. We have paid for 2 beds turned out he can't do anything and told us we were not his first guests to have double on that day. Wow! Unbelievable 😡"

Yes, some parts of Bali are overrun with tourists and rubbish. However, we’ve been here for a couple of weeks now and we’ve seen many beach clean ups being organized, plus single-use plastic is restricted, so yay to this Bali! Whenever I hear people complaining because Bali is too touristy, I would like to remind them that it’s a pretty big island, and visiting ‘Western hotspots’ is not compulsory! You can always find places with not many other people around, and in some cases you don’t even need to travel far. This is Seseh Beach, less than 15 minutes away from Canggu by scooter! #TroverRT
