"The booking was confirmed on a 2nd floor, i got a 3rd floor, all switches dirty actually black, bed horrible mattress, there was a alarm ringing at 04 am on first night, and toilet cleaning very bad specially in the shower. Mean time I have lung emphysema and I complain about the floor as confirmation was to a 2nd floor they said that wasn’t for us chose the floor even if of the booking wouldn’t show that you were going to stay on a 3rd. So yes mainly was very bad "

"It’s old; it’s a lot of stair climbing; well located and serves a great breakfast. Has limited bar. Work being done on premises is noisy. Staff is friendly and professional. Curtained beds for privacy with reading lights. Towel provided. Right on Rossio Square—walk anywhere downtown. "

"It is listed as a hotel but is barely a room. There was a shared bathroom which was not well maintained. Essentially it is a slumlord type floor of an apartment that is shared. It says free parking, but it is just street parking on a different road from the hotel, and is only free from the late evening until 9 am.
