"Great location and property, only thing that sucks is they provide no amenities or towels and the beds are like three spring mattresses joined together. Also took me half a day to connect to wifi and the staff said he didn’t know why. Also be mindful there are no separate showers so no privacy at all."

"Stayed in a female only cabin. Everything was very clean in the rooms and the shared toilets. The instructions on classifying the rubbish is very clear and can definitely be understood by tourists who don’t read Japanese. The staff can speak in both Japanese and English. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered to help me check out before I even asked for it. The surrounding area is a residential area so it’s very quiet and safe. I walked to the hostel from the station a few times...

"Perfect spot for us tucked out of the main buzz of the city but close to all the spots we wanted to see on foot and plenty of public transport options. Staff were so lovely. Quiet and unassuming hostel that was a great wee spot to start our exploration of Japan from. Would stay here again!"

The shower on my floor didn't have hot water, so they let guests know immediately, and were upfront about the 10 pm curfew to go through the front door, but still having the back entrance to allow us in if we stayed late at night."
