"We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. Staff was incredible friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had such a unique room that had 2 floors (bathroom on the bottom floor, sleeps 4 in total, and a small private outdoor sitting area). "The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. "The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."

"The elevator was broken and stuck in between floors. There were barely any hallway lights . The place was very clean and the area was very vibrant close to everything! Marco was a great host telling us what to do where to eat. I would go there again."
