"Good place for short stays or budget accommodation. Close to centre and bus services. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Facilities were good and cleaned daily. Staff were very helpful, the head cleaner is a bit abrupt but she just wants to get the cleaning done on time."

"We had a very small apartment. It could have been cleaner, the toilet was smelly and not clean, the shower was very hard to use and the bedding looked grubby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were woken one night at 2pm by the sound of two men talking in the courtyard and the smell of their cigarettes filling our room."

"The room was great although there was no place in the shower to put soap and shampoo. Also, the shower sprayer would not stay in place. Breakfast on first morning was awful. "The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
